I began painting many years ago starting with pastels, moving to oils and most recently to acrylics and mixed media.

From realist landscapes to more recently abstract painting, the same rules apply as I use color, composition, texture and mark making to convey a feeling or tell a story. The only difference here is that the abstract painting most often takes me somewhere I never expected: constantly making new discoveries and being open to new possibilities.
