2025 Members Challenges
As a member of Blue Ridge Arts Center, you are invited to participate in our Member Challenges. These challenges are hung in the Foyer in coordination with our main gallery shows. Challenges are designed to motivate our members to explore new directions as artists… whether it’s a new medium, color scheme, or subject matter… who knows where it might lead. Artists are encouraged to create new work specifically for the Members’ Challenges, not pull from inventory. Each artist can enter one piece per challenge. This is a free opportunity for our members, but we do ask that you offer these works for sale during the show. Artwork should be pre-registered online, then dropped off during the appropriate drop-off period.
NEW: All 2D artworks submitted for any members’ challenge must be framed and wired for hanging. Gallery wrapped canvas thicker than 1″ can be left unframed, if the edges are completely finished/painted.
