Inspiration can be found in all elements of a work of art, including the composition, color story and overall feel of a piece. We asked local artists to re-imagine a famous artwork, explore the style of a Master and create their own forgery. Now, it is time to see the results!
On View: July 19 – August 28
In additional to the museum quality forgeries in our main gallery, you can also view “Mirror Mirror” our current members’ challenge; “From the Sea” a one-woman show featuring artwork by Julie Lamp; and a special exhibit in our classroom gallery, “In Memory of Betsy Barker” – a long time artist and supporter of Blue Ridge Art Center.
