Open Themed Exhibition
ABOUT THE EXHIBITIONThe sun is shining and the flowers will soon be blooming at Blue Ridge Art Center. We are so excited to welcome you back to the gallery and studios. Our new show for May will pay homage to the awakenings of Spring and the reawakening of our spirits following a dark and difficult winter. The theme is “New Beginnings”. Your work should represent new life, starting anew, or new growth. Think in terms of new opportunities, new vision, new hope, or new artistic experiences. We encourage you to interpret this theme as it applies to your own creative vision and journey. Each participant is invited to enter two pieces created in any medium. This is a non-juried show, but prizes will be awarded. SPECIAL NOTE: We know many of you look forward to our Photography Show each year. Unfortunately, COVID took it off this year’s schedule, but we wanted to give our photographers a shout out. So, as part of our New Beginnings show, we will have a special photography section and offer a photography merit award. ELIGIBILITY
