The sun is shining and the flowers are blooming at Blue Ridge Art Center. We are so excited to welcome you back to the gallery and studios. Our next show pays homage to the awakenings of Spring and the reawakening of our spirits following a dark and difficult winter. The theme is "New Beginnings" and boy have our artists delivered! Work represents new life, starting anew and new growth. It highlights new vision, new hope, and new artistic experiences. We have also invited members of a local garden club to add some additional 'life' to the show by creating floral arrangements inspired by specific pieces in the show! We can't wait for you to see all the great work our artists have been creating at our indoor/outdoor opening reception on Friday, May 21 from 5:50-7:30pm.

In the Foyer Gallery

"Sunshine & Shadows" is the latest challenge presented to our Arts Center members. Each work was created specifically for this show, playing on the ideas of illumination, warmth, hope, and vitality... or conversely cool, shade, despair, doubt, and darkness.
