2024 is right around the corner and so is our next set of shows, and we are going BIG! This January, we will be filling the main gallery with the sights, sounds and colors of the big show! We are celebrating everything CIRCUS, CARNIVAL and COUNTY FAIR – so let your imagination fly as you paint, sculpt, sketch or weave your way into “The Big Show!”
Entries must be registered ONLINE no later than 5pm on Thursday, January 11, 2024. Artwork must then be dropped off at Blue Ridge Arts Center on Friday, January 12 (1-4pm) or Saturday, January 13 (10am-1pm).
Eligibility
- Open to artists age 18 & up
- Artists may submit 1-2 original works created in the last 2 years, which have not previously been exhibited at Blue Ridge Arts Center.
Entry Fee
- General: $40
- BRAC Members: $30
- Students: $20
Entry fee is non-refundable and due at time of registration. Proceeds fund BRAC operating expenses.
Entry Fee
Any 2D or 3D media which meet the following criteria is welcome:
- Gallery-wrapped canvases which are over 1” thick, may be unframed, but all edges must be painted and canvas must be wired for hanging.
- All other 2D work must be securely framed and wired for hanging.
- 3D work must sit solidly on a pedestal/floor or be securely mounted & wired for hanging.
- Artwork must require no assembly
- Jewelry must be presented in a shadow box.

- 2nd Place: $250

Sales
- Artists may offer their work for sale.
- BRAC will retain a 35% sales commission.
- Work must remain for the duration of the show. No early pick-ups.
