"Bringing Art to the People and People to the Arts"

Margaret Bynum – Clemson, SC

My husband and I came to Clemson when he retired from the Air Force in 1988. I got in touch with the Arts Center in Clemson, took some classes, and volunteered. I went to Clemson University to study art (class of 1997, BFA) and then went to Lander for a MAT. Tri-County hired me, and I taught Art History for 15 years.

In Clemson, I participate in the Arts Center. My work is primarily jewelry making, some weaving, and have taken a class in small frame weaving at Blue Ridge.
