Our “Evening with an Artist” series events bring artists and community members to BRAC for a casual discussion and/or demonstration in a small group setting. Light refreshments will be served. Guests are able to view and discuss work directly with the artist.
An Evening with Artist George Crown

Join us at Blue Ridge Arts Center for “An Evening with Artist George Crown” on Thursday, June 11, beginning at 6:30pm. George will demonstrate his painterly pen and ink drawing technique with watercolor washes.

About George Crown
George Crown is a professional artist and illustrator who specializes in watercolor painting. After teaching high school art, he was hired as a full-time professor of art at Edison State Community College in Piqua, Ohio.
George and his wife Barbara also operated a gift and art shop on Harsen’s Island, Michigan for 25 years before retiring to Anderson where he continues to paint and enjoys his new environment.
