Art on the Line
Calling All Artists!
We all have them… the stacks of unloved sketches, underpaintings that never developed, and random works that don’t have a home. “Art on the Line” is a chance to share these hidden gems with the world!
Blue Ridge Arts Center is seeking donations of small-scale, 2D artworks (max size 12″x12″) to sell at our “Art on the Line” Fundraising event. Works will be priced at set price points between $25 and $100. All mediums are welcome (even prints and note cards), but all artwork must be lightweight enough to hang from a clothesline.
Drop off work any time between now and December 6th in the “Art on the Line” bin located in the foyer.

For this festive, one-of-a-kind event, our galleries will be transformed into a colorful collection of clotheslines, each filled with affordably priced, small-scale original artworks by talented local and regional artists. When the doors open, the gallery is yours to explore. Wander the lines, discover something that speaks to you, and when you find the perfect piece, grab it and take it home!
Whether you’re looking for a special piece for your own collection or a creative gift for someone you love, Art on the Line makes original art accessible, personal, and fun.
And every purchase helps support the Blue Ridge Arts Center’s growing clay program, including our goal of purchasing a new kiln to expand opportunities for artists and students in our community.
Come for the art. Stay for the festive atmosphere. Enjoy our hot chocolate bar, soak up the holiday spirit, and—if we’re lucky—maybe even get a visit from the big man himself!
