I was influenced at an early age by a mother who was an oil and pastel painter. I have created some type of visual art most of my life. My art is inspired by subjects easily accessible—nature and everyday life. Mostly self-taught in landscape and still life painting, I consider myself a painter who simply finds joy in creating art in any way I find it or it finds me, providing a very rewarding artist lifestyle.
