It’s that time of year again-time for our Annual Members’ Show! This show is open to anyone who becomes a member or renews their membership for the upcoming year. Each new/renewing member is invited to submit 1-2 original pieces of art executed by the artist within the last two years and not previously shown at Blue Ridge Arts Center. This show is FREE for Blue Ridge Arts Center Members! There is no theme or special requirements, we just want to see what our members have been up to and what they are creating!
This is an ‘open’ show – all submitted works will be displayed. Entries must be registered ONLINE no later than 5pm on Thursday, September 10, 2026. Artwork must then be dropped off at Blue Ridge Arts Center on Friday, September 11 (1-4pm) or Saturday, September 12 (10am-1pm).

Eligibility
Open to Blue Ridge Arts Center members. This is an ‘open’ show – all submitted works will be displayed and awards will be presented.
Artists may submit 1-2 original works created in the last 2 years, which have not previously been exhibited in any Blue Ridge Arts Center gallery.
Media
Both 2D or 3D media are welcome.
Artwork must require no assembly.
Gallery-wrapped canvases which are over 1” thick, may be unframed, but all edges must be painted and canvas must be wired for hanging.
Thinner canvases and all other 2D work must be securely framed and wired for hanging (no sawtooth hangers).
3D work must sit solidly on a pedestal/floor or be securely mounted & wired for hanging.
Jewelry must be presented in a shadow box.
Awards
Kathy Clark and Mac Hammett of Charleston will serve as judges for this year’s show. Awards will include:
- Best Overall Artwork ($200)
- Best Technical Execution ($100)
- Most Humorous ($100)
- Most Emotionally Provocative ($100)
- Most Creative/Original ($100)
- Best Use of Color ($100)
- Most Engaging Composition ($100)
- Best Use of Art to Tell a Story ($100)
- Best Use of 3 Dimensions ($100)

No early pick-up is allowed. Artwork left longer than 30 days after designated pick-up becomes the property of the Blue Ridge Arts Center.
Promotional Release
By entering this show, you grant Blue Ridge Arts Center and its successors the right to photograph or record any entry submitted for purposes of publicity or education. Photographs of artwork and artists may also be taken during drop-off, pick-up, receptions or open gallery hours. Photographs may be used online and/or in print, but will never be sold.
Sales
Artists may offer their work for sale. Blue Ridge Arts Center will retain a 35% sales commission. Work must remain for the duration of the show. No early pick-ups.
