2026 Juror: Alan Ethridge
Alan Ethridge is the Executive Director Metropolitan Arts Council. Alan is an alumnus of Vanderbilt University where he received a B.A. in English Literature and Fine Arts. He has served on the Board of Directors of Visit Greenville SC and the Board of Governors of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce. He is currently on the Board of Directors of Artisphere and the Board of Advisors of the Department of Visual Arts of Greenville Tech. In 2010, Alan received the Excellence in Arts Leadership Award from the Chamber of Commerce and the Peace Center for the Performing Arts. In 2018, Alan received the Elizabeth O’Neill Verner Governor’s Award for the Arts. This award is given to an individual in recognition of outstanding contributions to the arts in South Carolina.
About the Show
The Photographic Society at Blue Ridge Arts Center is excited to announce that our National Photography Exhibition is now accepting entries. The exhibition will be held at Blue Ridge Arts Center, 111 E. South 2nd Street, Seneca, South Carolina, Friday, March 20 through Friday, April 24, 2026.
Eligibility
This exhibition is open to all artists residing in the United States. All artwork should be original, created by the submitting artist within the last three years and not previously shown at Blue Ridge Arts Center. Photographic processes include non-traditional materials, mixed media, or digital photography.

$40 entry fee ($35 for BRAC members). Entry fees are non-refundable.

Sales
Artists may offer their work for sale. BRAC will retain a 35% sales commission. Work must remain for the duration of the show.
Photography Disclaimer
Blue Ridge Arts Center reserves the right to photograph or record any entry submitted for publicity or educational purposes. Photographs of artwork and artists may also be taken during drop-off, pick-up, receptions or open gallery hours.

Closing reception will include a juror talk discussing work in the show and award-winning artwork.

No early pick-ups. Artwork left more than 30 days becomes the property of BRAC.
Delivery & Retrieval Options
Accepted entries must be ready for installation with wire hanger attached. Maximum size should not exceed 30” x 40”.
Shipped artwork must be received by Friday, March 13 in a sturdy reusable container. Shipping details will be provided in acceptance email.

Blue Ridge Arts Center cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss to artwork that has been left for longer than 30 days following the posted deadlines for pick-up. Artwork left longer than 30 days becomes the property of Blue Ridge Arts Center.
