Our “Afternoon with an Artist” events bring artists and community members to BRAC for a casual luncheon and artist demonstration. Local artists are invited to showcase their talent in a small group setting. In addition to lunch and a demonstration, guests are able to view, discuss and purchase work directly from the artist.
 

Patsy Johnson

Patsy Johnson was our featured artist for July 2016. You may remember Patsy’s whimsical, imaginative acrylic paintings from our past exhibitions. Patsy is a wonderful person and one-of-a-kind artist. Attendees had a chance to view over 35 pieces of Patsy’s work created over the past 5+ years, see a video she has prepared and hear from the artist herself about her passion and inspiration. And of course, there was lunch – catered by Strickland Museum. All proceeds went to BRAC and our building repair fund.
