"Bringing Art to the People and People to the Arts"

Calling all artists for a Fabulous Forgeries challenge! Choose one of the MASTERS of the PAST or PRESENT. Draw, paint, sculpt, photograph, or Etch-a-Sketch one of their masterpieces… and make it in your own! If they worked in oil, copy their work in watercolor. If they worked large, copy their work small. If they made still life paintings, copy their work in a photograph or sculpture. If they worked in fabulous color, copy their work in black and white. If they worked in abstract, copy their work in your realistic style. (Good luck with Picasso!) If they painted heroic scenes, take a piece of it and put it in a completely different context. Or, go ahead and copy it exactly… that is how all the MASTERS learned! Be creative and have fun with your Fabulous Forgery, let the MASTER inspire you to greatness.

Please sign your piece: “Inspired by (Master’s Name) by (Your Name).” Include a 5” X 7” framed picture of the work you copied. We do not want anyone to go to jail for having fun!
