"Bringing Art to the People and People to the Arts"

Evening with an Artist: Nancy Oppenheimer

Evening with an Artist

Our “Evening with an Artist” events bring artists and community members to BRAC for a casual discussion with interesting artists in our area. Local artists are invited to showcase their talent in a small group setting. Wine and refreshments will be served. Guests are able to view and discuss work directly with the artist.

Wednesday, March 8

Tickets: $30 ($25 for BRAC members)

Wine & Cheese will be served.

Nationally acclaimed artist Nancy Oppenheimer will prove to the audience (just as she did in her recent Fear Of Drawing class) that we ALL have the skills to draw and only need to learn how to harness them. Be prepared to be surprised. It will be fun!

Nancy’s 14-foot long oil painting of Lake Keowee was commissioned by the GSP airport as a result of a national competition, and hangs in the Delta wing. Nancy’s painting of a rescued river otter, Luna, won an honorable mention in the National Oil Painters or America show. Nancy’s artwork has won numerous awards, she has been interviewed on NPR, and she is featured in a video produced by GSP.
