ArtsLink is a BRAC project partially funded by the South Carolina Arts Commission that will connect art lovers and scholars to the artists of the Golden Corner of South Carolina. It will catalog the artists and their art from throughout the region and provide many options for viewing the works.

Searches can based on artist, media, and/or subject. You will "drill down" through a menuing system and then will be presented with "thumbnails" of all pictures meeting your criteria. Clicking on any "thumbnail" will provide a larger image. From the larger image you will be able to return to the page of "thumbnails" or return to the main index.

Your second option is to browse images. Here you may browse by artist, subject or media. The browse will allow you to progress through all images meeting the criteria. Under each image, you are present with four options for your next progression: You may go to the next image or the previous image, go to information on the artist or return to the main index.

You may also look for biographies of artist. Simply select the artist you want and his/her bio will be presented.

Entering your works is accomplished by completing a ArtsLink Artist form describing yourself. Then for each piece you want in the catalog, you need to complete a ArtsLink Piece form describing the piece.

For each piece we need a digital format picture. If you can supply that, fine. If not, we can scan photographs for you. We also have arrangements to photocopy large pieces, or can come do the photography for you in your home. Contact they BRAC office. We have plans for expansion of ArtsLink’s services and think it presents an exciting opportunity for the artists in our area. We hope you will join us and display your works in this electronic catalog.
